About Us

  • Who We Are
    Liverpool Harriers & A.C. is an Athletics Club based in the North West of England. Established in 1882 we have been a successful club for many years and cater for all athletes from the age of 9 years old.
  • What We Do
    We compete in all the main regional and national track and field leagues and competitions as well as many road and cross country events.
  • Where We Are
    We are based at the Wavertree Athletics Stadium in Liverpool. For location details please see the contact page.
  • Join Us
    Membership is available to anyone from the age of 9 years old. We have an abundance of coaches for all different disciplines and abilities. Please see the membership page for more details.

The Farnworth Arms

The Club was founded in 1882 at the Farnworth Hotel, which later became the Farnworth Arms and is currently awaiting renovation or demolition.

NCAA 6 Stage 1972

In sunshine at Clarke Gardens. North of England 6-stage winning team 1972 – first Northern Senior Men’s team victory since 1886.
