Liverpool Harriers took 1st and 2nd place in the Chester Round the Walls Race on Boxing Day. The popular race has been held since 1972 and normally involves a route from the racecourse and around the Roman walls but due to icy conditions on the day the course was changed to 4 laps around the racecourse, in slippy, muddy conditions.

It was Dan Cliffe who took the 1st spot with a time of 17:22 and Adam Peers in 2nd place in 18:12.
