European Athletics Indoor Championships

There’s nothing much more to say that hasn’t already been reported about Katarina’s achievements of late, simply awe-inspiring stuff and a real credit to the club and her coach Mike Holmes.

In case you missed it, Kat won the gold medal in the Pentathlon at the European Indoor Championships in Prague this weekend, set a new British Record for the event (smashing Jessica Ennis’ previous best) and was less than a second away in the 800m from breaking the World Record. She finished with a total points score of 5000pts, the second highest mark ever recorded and a mere 13 points away from the World Record.
