Our two athletes representing North of England acquitted themselves well in the Elite Race over an undulating 5k course towards the end of Dec 31st.  Maria Barrett was 49th of the 152 runners, being 4th Woman (ex-international Andrea Whitcombe was the 3rd home) in 17:32, while Jenny Pybis was 75th (11th Woman) in 18:53.
