Sportshall Athletics 2001/02

 

Yes !  Its here again.

 

Now the Summer is coming to an end, Sportshall is back.

We will be running trials for Girls & Boys over the next few weeks, there will be 3 age groups for each:

 Under 11 = yrs 5 + 6

 Under 13 = yrs 7 + 8

 Under 15 = yrs 9 + 10

Trial Dates

1 Mon 10th Sep 5.30 to 7pm

2 Mon 17th Sep 5.30 to 7pm

3 Mon 24th Sep 5.30 to 7pm

4 Sun 30th Sep 11.30 to 1pm

 

This year we are asking for a 50p fee, in trials + training sessions, so as to reduce the costs of travel to the venues for yourselves.

 

ALL are welcome to attend.

 

We have Provisional dates for this year’s rounds and final.

Dates are as follows :

      Round 1  Sun 21st Oct 2001-Kingsway, Widnes

      Round 2  Sun 25th Nov 2001- Norton

      Round 3  Sun 27th Jan 2002- Epic, West Cheshire

      Round 4  Sun 10th Feb 2002- T.B.C.

      Final all ages  Sun 14th Apr 2002 Wigan

All dates/venues are subject to change and times T.B.C.

 

So if you want to be part of a winning team, get yourself down to the track.

Last year the Girls Under 11 + Under 13 teams Won their finals and a creditable 3rd for the Under 15 girls & 4th for the under 11 boys
