Liverpool Harriers and AC is an athletics club based in the North West of England. Established in 1882 we have been a successful club for many years and cater for all athletes from the age of 9 years old. For more information please see the page.

We compete in all the main regional and national track and field leagues and competitions as well as many road and cross country events. We have a large member base and provide training by qualified coaches in all disciplines of athletics, road and cross country running.

The clubhouse is based at Wavertree Athletics Stadium in Liverpool. Access is through the Lifestyles Tennis centre which is off Wellington Road. For a map please see the

[toggle title=”When do we train?”]
The main club training nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6pm and 8pm although a number of senior and experienced athletes also train at the track on other days. Individual groups may also meet at times outside of training nights for other sessions.

The current membership prices are listed on the Membership Page. In addition all members are required to pay training fees each time they use the track and clubhouse facilities, which are currently set at £1 per person.

[toggle title=”Can I try out the club for free?”]
Yes! Please speak to someone at the main desk in the clubhouse on one of the training nights. You are allowed to come along and try out a few sessions before deciding whether you wish to join us.

We cater for all disciplines in running and athletics. From track and field to road running and cross country we train and compete in them all. There are numerous coaches on hand to guide you in whatever you feel like trying.

[toggle title=”Are the coaches qualified?”]
Yes. All coaches taking groups hold a relevent UKA (or equivalent) qualification, which also provides insurance for any member to take part. A list of qualifications can be seen on the

Upon membership the member acknowledges that when representing the club or during a club event photos may be taken for the purpose of use on the website. If permission is to be withheld then that member must contact the club in order to be placed on the no media list.
