National lockdown – training suspended
Following tonight’s government announcement of a national lockdown, we now have to cancel all training with immediate effect.

Fixtures 2021
As you are all aware the majority of the fixtures for 2020 were cancelled due to Covid. UKA has published the calendar for 2021 and there is a hope that some sort of normality can resume once the vaccines are rolled out. http://www.uka.org.uk/wp-cont

Changes to track sessions/Christmas closedown
Please note the centre staff have requested that all training is finished no later than 7.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday. In order to do this the training sessions will start at quarter to the hour -4.45pm, 5.45pm and 6.45pm. This means all groups have

Track re-opening
After dialogue with the centre manager we can resume outdoor training from Thursday 3rd December. The Army will still be using the tennis centre for covid 19 testing, access will be via the gates by 100m start as pre lockdown. Christmas closures are still

Lockdown Closure
It has been confirmed that the Wavertree track will be closed for all training groups as from Midnight Wednesday 4th November 2020 through to December 2nd 2020, when we hope to resume. That is subject to confirmation from the city council
AGM postponed
Please note that due to the current pandemic, the club’s annual general meeting has been postponed. Once we can confirm a new date we will advise accordingly.
