Liverpool Harriers Open Meeting – Wavertree – Sun 12th April
We hosted our open meeting on the Sunday and the weather was all over the place, with glorious sunshine, hailstorms and some wind, but an excellent turnout and some good performances with the standout in the boys 300m where Jon Leonard won in 37.15 and Jack McLoughlin & Josh Patino had a real battle in the 400m with both going sub 50 on their seasonal debut

Leigh Harriers Spring Open – Leigh – Sun 12th April
Nick Wedderman opened his season with 45.61 in the discus
Loughborough Open – Loughborough -Sat 18th April
A few of our middle distance girls got an invite to Loughborough and Josh and Jack raced each other again in the 400m. Jack won this time in 48.82. Holly Cross went sub 4.30 in the 1500m

YDL Upper – Blackburn – Sun 19th April
A very depleted team with very few U20 athletes struggled at Blackburn and finished 5th out of 7 teams. The highlight of the day was a club record in U18G 4x100m which was also an U20W club record. Esme Dunning, Alice Jones, Emily Brazier & Millie Spink ran 48.5 handtimed

Boston Marathon – Boston – Monday 20th April
New member, Annabel Harley, ran the Boston Marathon and ran a PB of 3:07.39
Mini Marathon – London – Sat 25th April
We had a number of athletes selected to run for the NW at the mini marathon, with Holly Cross the best performance in 8th place
