Trafford 10k – Trafford – Sun 1st March
Joe Niven was our leading finisher at Trafford 10k, finishing in 10th place.
InterCounties & Cross Challenge – Nottingham – Sat 7th March
Quite a few of our athletes represented Merseyside at the intercounties with Faye O’Hare the best placed finisher in 8th place
EA indoor Combined Events U15/U17 & Para Champs – Sheffield – Sat 7th & Sun 8th March
Elliott Griffiths comfortably won the LJ and 60m at the junior Para champs with 6.17m and 7.57. Grace Byrom competed in the U15G combined events finishing 23rd with 2275pts and a big PB in the shot of 9.11m
Air Loughborough PV – Loughborough- Sun 8th March
Daisy Roberts jumped 3.16m to finish equal first in pool D, tied with Ella Wilkinson, who competes for Liverpool as a higher claim in the NAL
English Schools XC Champs – Sefton Park – Sat 14th March
Quite a few of our athletes competed for Merseyside and Cheshire.

Manchester Indoors – Sportcity – Sat 15th March
The last of the Manchester indoors had a decent turnout from Liverpool Harriers – Results

Podium 5k – Leicester – Sat 15th March
A few athletes travelled to Leicester for the podium 5k

Liverpool Half Marathon & 10 Miler – Sun 16th March
Congratulations to Abbie Smith who finished 3rd in the Half Marathon and Andrea Bond who finished 2nd in the 10 miler
Bath Half Marathon- Bath – Sun 16th March
Jade Morgan made her debut over the half marathon and ran a very quick 73:48 for 8th place. Just outside the club record, but Jade posted that she struggled from 8 miles….
Blackpool Winter Warm Up- Stanley Park – Sat 22nd March
The first meeting of the track season took place at Blackpool with a few athletes setting markers for YDL and English Schools
Trafford Open – Trafford – Sun 23rd March
The folliwing day we had a big turnout at Trafford with Kristen Badrock throwing over 37m on her seasonal appearance
Pulford 10k – Sun 24th March
After her run at Bath half the week before, Jade Morgan was a late entries into the Pulford 10k and ended up winning in 32:58
Wilmslow Half Marathon – Sun 24th March
We had a few athletes competing in Wilmslow with Harry Lupton our best performing Athlete in 74:45
Northern 6/12 Road Relays and U15/U17 5k champs – Carlisle – Sat 28th March
Unfortunately we were ubable to get a mens or a womens team out for a variety of reasons(injury, illness, holidays, travel etc), but we did get athletes out at U15 & U17 in the 5k road races
Congratulations to Rebecca Murphy on winning the U17W 5k road race, with Holly Cross 2nd and Frankie O’Brien making up team gold.
The U15W also pucked up team gold thanks to Mia Ford, Esme Cameron & Honor Peers
