North West Road Relays & round up

NW Counties Road Relays – Delamere  -Sat 8th September 2018.

On a very wet day a good number of club members turned up to run around the forest in Delamere.

Big thanks to all the parents, coaches and team managers who supported the athletes and the club on the day.

U11 Boys – Finished 11th in the NW and 5th in the County.

U11 Girls – Finished 11th in the NW and 2nd in the County.

U13 Girls – A team were NW Champions being Emma Gittens / Ella McMutrie and Lara Bellingham. The C team finished 19th and 1st B team in the County, the B team were 30th and the D Team were 40th. Ella McMutrie was fastest leg in the County.

U13 Boys – Were 3rd in the NW and 1st in the County- Max Webster / Josh Redmond and Liam McCay. Liam also ran the fastest leg of all the U13 Boys.

U15 Boys – Were 7th in the NW and 2nd County team. The B team were 18th and 5th in the County.

U15 Girls – Finished 3rd in the NW and 2nd in the County – Grace Tobin / Tamzin Dentith and Faye O’Hare. The B team were 16th in the NW and 4th in the County. Faye O’Hare was fastest leg in the County. The C team was incomplete.

U17 Men – They were 11th in the NW and first County team with Jamie Ford running the fastest leg in the county.

U17 Women – No team

Senior Women – The A team were 11th in the NW and 2nd County team. The B team were 39th in the NW and 9th in the County.

Senior Men – They finished 6th in the NW but 1st in the County with a tremendous 3rd leg by Dejene Gezimu who ran the fastest leg in the NW. The B team finished 24th and 6th in the County and the C team who were Non Counters (Due to eligibility) were incomplete.

Liverpool Jumps and Throws  -Sat 8th September 2018.

There was a terrific turnout for the final jumps and throws meeting despite some awful weather. A big thanks to all the officials and volunteers who helped out.
