Sat 23rd May – NAL – Wavertree

Our NAL team made the first appearance of the season in what was an extremely strong league with Sheffield(relegated from top division) & York(won last season) battling it out. Despite having decent numbers, our men in particular struggled and we finished 5th, but close to Sale in 4th.(After analysis, some points didnt pull through to Liverpool’s advantage – the results have been correct and Liverpool finished 4th, just 4pts behind Notts)

There were a couple of highlights with the mens 4x100m running inside the club record, although we had a HCA in the team and thus it doesn’t count for record purposes. In addition the women’s 4x400m team were very quick, but had two HCA in the team
