British Championships – Sportcity 24th- 26th June
We had quite a few athletes competing at the British Championships and three athletes came away with medals.
Emily Dibble threw a PB in the javelin of 51.54m to win a silver, Osian Jones also picked up a silver in the Hammer with 69.68m and Kate Anson took a bronze in the high jump with 1.79m

Northern Snr and U20 Championships – Wavertree 18th & 19th June
On another blustery weekend at Wavertree, our athletes picked up 5 golds and numerous other medals. Congratulations to the following gold medallists:
Emily Gargan – Triple Jump
Grace Bower – 100m Hurdles
Sam Bannon – Javelin
Matthew Liu – U20 Long Jump
Meg Corker – u20 100m Hurdles – (broke long standing championship record)

NAL Sportcity – Sat 2nd June
A very strong team competed a Sportcity on another blustery day and had a hard fought battle with Sale for top spot. There were a few issues with result scoring on the day as we believed we had won and then Sale were announced as winners by 1.5pts and results are still under scrutiny. This leaves us in a strong position going into the next match at Bournemouth.

YDL Upper- Trafford – Sun 26th June
A very blustery day at Trafford saw a very depleted team due to illness, exams and holidays finish 3rd and retain their place in the Premier division. A big thanks to all that turned out and those that did multiple events to help the team out

Merseyside Schools Track and Field Championships – Bebington -Sat 11th June
These were the trials for the team for English Schools and we can confirm 13 Liverpool Harriers have been selected for Merseyside and we understand a couple have also been selected for Cheshire

NW Schools Combined Championships – Blackburn 25th & 26th June
Congratulations to Sadie Madigan, who won the junior girls pentathlon with a score of 3104, which puts her currently at the top of the UK rankings
Corey Beechall finished 2nd in the Inter boys Octathlon
Both will be selected for English Schools combined events final

Corey Beechall finished 5th in the U17 Decathlon with 5079pts
Welsh Championships – Cardiff 11th & 12th June
congratulations to Nia Riley and Osian Jones who won Welsh titles in 800m and Hammer respectively
NI Schools Championship
Congratulations to Abbie O’Neill, who broke Beth Henshall’s U20 PV club record in Belfast clearing 3.47m
Norway
Congratulations to John Kelly who broke his own club record in the Shot Put with 19.57m
