British Indoor Championships – Birmingham
Liverpool Harriers had 9 athletes invited to the championships including 3 ladies in the Women’s 400m.
Katarina Johnson Thompson took the long jump title with 6.71 which was the third longest jump in the world this year.
Jamie Webb picked up a silver in the 800m in a tactical race, won by Elliot Giles.
There were three indoor PB’s for our 400m ladies including a world championship qualifier for Anyika Onuora, but Anyika seemed to have qualified for the final only for the officials to DQ her after winning her semi final.
James Williams made the final of the 200m, finishing 5th and semi final of the 60m and John Ashcroft finished 5th in the 1500m final.
