The Merseyside T&F county Championships returned to Wavertree and produced some terrific performances in perfect conditions with a tail wind that hovered around the legal limit of 2m/s

Cumbria County Championships
Steph Driscoll competed at Carlisle and won shot and 300mH with a PB in the latter race.
BMC Sportcity
Quite a few of our middle distance runners elected to go to Sportcity for the BMC meeting rather than the county championships for better racing. There were PBs for:
Danielle Webb 1500m 4:30.53
Dejene Gezemu 5000m 14:24.92
Aaron Jarvis 5000m 15:56.83
Ella McNiven opened her 1500m campaign with 4:26.38

A lot of our younger athletes travelled to Trafford on Tuesday and came away with PBs

Tim Duckworth produced another outstanding performance in the States with an 8.19 long jump, however the wind speed was 2.5m/s and above the legal limit for record.
