Another trip to Crewe and a successful trip with our U13B, U13G and U11G leading their matches
New York Marathon – Sun 3rd Nov
Jonny Mellor finished a fine 14th place on a notoriously hilly course in 2:11.22
Cross Challenge – Sat 9th Nov – Cardiff
A few of our U13 and u15’s made the long trip down to South Wales and did very well with numerous top 10 finishes.

Cross Challenge & Euro Trials – Sat 23rd Nov – Sefton Park
Another large turnout of Liverpool Harriers athletes for the cross challenge match at Sefton Park.
Although we had no podium finishes, we had some fine performances with 5th5place finishes for Alicia Baranowska and Bobby McEvoy.

With very few athletes travelling to Sheffield, the majority of our athletes were starting their indoor campaign in Manchester.

Congratulations to Alex O’Brien, who travelled to Spain and took a huge margin off her marathon PB running an outstanding 2:44.07

We hosted match 3 of the Sportshall season in the tennis centre and a very good turnout of athletes in all age groups. After 3 matches:
U11G -currently 2nd, 13pts behind Crewe
U11B – currently 4th
U13G – currently 1st, 49pts clear of Macclesfield
U13B – currently 1st, 17pts clear of Crewe.
Merseyside XC – Sat 14th December – Arrowe Park
The EA calendar brought this fixture forward from the start of January and a good number of athletes turned out for the club and we had a lot of athletes picking up medals.

Liverpool Harriers Xmas Handicap – Sun 22nd December – Wavertree
The annual Xmas Handicap took place on the last Sunday before Christmas, where the weather turned and was extremely cold, wet and very windy, so much that the senior race was reduced to one lap.
Congratulations to Freddie McDermott and Rebecca Murphy who were first across the line.
