Parelloop 10K -Sunday 24th March
Congratulations to Dejene Gezemu who was selected to run for England over in Holland. Dejene finished 32nd in 30:05. Adrian Webb was selected as a coach with the team as well
Northern 6/12 Road Relays & 5K road championships – Birkenhead Park – Sunday 24th March
The 6/12 stage road relays took place in Birkenhead Park with the men having 1 team of 12 and the women managing to field 2 teams of 6 for the first time for a while. The women’s A team finished a very creditable 6th place and the B team in 19th. The men’s team were in a podium position for most of the race, but ended up finishing 4th with Richie Burney hobbling through the finish line on the last leg having aggravated a hamstring injury. In the 5k road races U17M – Sam Flaherty 25th, Jamie Ford 28th, U15M – Harry Sweeney 21st. Full results HERE

IAAF World Relays – Yokohama
Congratulations to Anyika Onuora who has been selected to compete in the women’s 4x400m squad in the IAAF World relays in Japan.
Year 7 Merseyside v Cheshire XC – Ellesmere Port – 27th March
Congratulations to Lara Bellingham who won the girls race. Max Webster finished 2nd in the boys race and Merseyside boys won their match. Full results HERE
