Congratulations to Ella McNiven, who was selected for England Juniors to compete in Spain. Ella finished 22^nd.

Manchester & District XC – Kenworthy Woods – 10^th November

Tom Rodgerson won the U20 men’s race and Liam McCay came second in the U13B race and Hattie Bain 3^rd in the U13G race.

Sportshall – Ellesmere Port Match 2

After a good start in match 1, the team struggled a little in match 2 – U11B finished 5^th, U11G finished 8^th, U13B were 4^th, U13G were 6^th, U15B were 4^th and U15G were 8^th, but most of the teams have a chance of qualifying for the regional finals.

Euro XC trials & L&D XC – Sefton Park – 24^th November

On a dry day(for a change) athletes came out in record numbers (a total of 2,332 athletes finished in all the races. An increase on last year by 298. A new record.)

The highlight from a Liverpool Harriers perspective was Charlie Hulson’s 4^th place finish in the men’s senior event, which earned him a place in the GB team for the Euro XC. There was also a top 10 finish for Liam McCay in the U13B race.

Manchester & District XC – Stockport – 1^st December

Just a handful of athletes went over to Stockport, but Hattie Bain was 6^th in U13G, Charlie Teare was 3^rd in U15B and Millie Raine was 2^nd in U20W.

Sportshall – Greenbank Match 3 – 2^nd December

On Sunday 2^nd December, we hosted our first home match for a long time.

Big thanks to Ant Young for managing the day, Anna Howlin for being our TM, Viki Boyd for assisting with results and the officials and parents who turned up and assisted with officiating. The feedback from the venue was excellent and the event ran very smoothly.

U13g – 3rd

U15b – 2nd

This means that all three boys teams qualified for the regional finals

Podium 5K – Barrowford

Congratulations to Jamie Webb who clocked a PB of 14:33 to win the Podium 5K race, with David Devine a very fine 2^nd, just 4 seconds behind.

Rachael Burns dipped inside 17 mins to finish second in the women’s race.
