Congratulations to Katarina Johnson Thompson who is the Heptathlon world champion for the second time.
After a solid first day, Kat was in 2nd place overnight after a 13.50 100mH, a 1.86m HJ, 13.64 Shot and a 23.48 200m.
Day 2 started with a 6.54m long jump and then a 46.14m PB in the javelin and going into the 800m needs to be within 2.5s of Anna Hall. Vetter was in 2nd, but her 800m is a weak event.
Kat ran a superb 800m, smashing her PB with 2:05.63, a second and a half behind Hall.
Kat scored 6740pts to win by 20pts.
