Merseyside County Champs – Wavertree Sat 11th May
There was an excellent turnout for the Merseyside County Champs and there were some terrific performances especially in the sprints helped by strong headings. Provisional results HERE
BAL Swansea – Sun 12th May
The men’s team travelled down to Swansea, for the opening match of the BAL season and performed above expectations. The team finished 3rd overall with the star performance in the Discus where Eoin Sheridan broke the club discus record with 54.75. Full results HERE
Trafford Distance & throws – Trafford Tues 14th May
The highlight from Trafford was Dan Preston’s PB in the 1500m in 3:52.75. Full results HERE
Ipswich Twilight Races – Sat 11th May
Rachael Burns competed in the Ipswich 5k race and ran 16:46 in a high class field won by Laura Weightman.
World Relays – Yokohama Sat/Sun 11th-12th May
Anyika Onuora was selected for GB in the 4x400m mixed relay. The team finished 4th in 3:20.49, but failed to qualify
Montpellier, France – Sat 11th May
Katarina opened her outdoor season with a 13.05m shot
