Muller Grand Prix – Saturday 15th February – Glasgow
We had three athletes who competed in the Muller GP in Glasgow. Katarina Johnson-Thompson jumped 6.47m in the long jump, James Williams ran a PB in the 400m from lane 1 in 47.26 and Jamie Webb did not finish in the 1500m
Folksam GP, Stockholm – 11th Feb
Jamie Webb elected to run a couple of 1500m races on the indoor circuit. Jamie was a little disappointed to finish 9th in 3:46.90
International selection
Congratulations to Abdulqani Sharif who has been selected for GB students for the world university cross country championships in Marrakech, Morrocco on 7th March 2020. In addition Faye O’Hare has been selected for team GB Catholic Schools Student Games in Germany.
BUCs Indoors -Sheffield – Friday 14th February- Sunday 16th February
Our university students and the students that train at Liverpool made the trip over to Sheffield to compete in the university championships.
There were a few outstanding performances with Steven Jones jumping 2.05m in the HJ and getting back to his very best after a serious injury. Henry Clarkson & Lewis Guest finished 1st & 3rd in the triple jump. Beth Henshall, with her new poles, smashed her PB jumping 3.60m

Masters Grand Prix – Sheffield – 8th February
Emma Alderson ran a speedy 56.39 in Sheffield over 400m
Manchester & District XC – Heaton Park – Sat 8th February
Quite few of our younger athletes competed at the last of the Manchester & D XC, with Bailey Hughes our highest finisher in 4th in U11G. The team finished 2nd
