Northern Junior Championships – Wavertree Sat – Sun 17th/18th August
Plenty of our athletes competed in the Northern Junior Championships and we picked up numerous medals. Full results and report can be found on the Northern League Website HERE. The following Liverpool Harriers athletes won medals:
Day 1: U13B 200m – Valentin Analogbei – 3rd, U15B 300m – Luka Sidebotham – 2nd, U15B Hammer – Cameron Scott-Allen – 3rd, U15B Long Jump – Matthew Liu – 2nd, U17M 200m – Henry Nwoke – 1st, U17M 400mH – Ethan Flaherty – 1st, U17W 3000m – Faye O’Hare – 2nd, U17W 300m – Neave McGhee – 1st
Day 2: U17M 100m – Henry Nwoke – 1st, U17M Discus – Matthew Taylor -3rd,U17W 200m – Neave McGhee – 1st, U17W High Jump – Gabrielle O’Neill – 2nd,
Diamond League – Birmingham – Sun 18th August
Katarina competed in the long jump and jumped her longest jump for four year with 6.85m to finish 3rd. Jamie Webb ran in a non-diamond league race and finished 4th in 1:46.38
