Northern League – Wavertree – Sunday 16th June
After a third place finish in match 1, the youthful Northern league team finished second to St Helens Sutton by just 8pts and now stand second in the league. The conditions were dry, but the track athletes were running into strong headwinds, although the jumpers benefitted. The standout performance was Anna Rowe javelin PB of 34.08 after 13 months out and virtually no training.

Anyika Onuora – Poland
Anyika was busy competing in Poland this week. On Wednesday she ran 53.41 for 400m and on the following Saturday improved to 52.88
Jamie Webb – Adidas GP- Boston
Jamie was invited to run on the roads in Boston and ran the 600m in 1.17.6 and then announced he had secured a kit deal with Adidas
