Northern Road Relays – Redcar – Sat 1st April
We managed to take a men and women’s team to a cool and breezy Redcar.
The men finished 7th with the women in 11th.
Liverpool Harriers Open – Wavertree – Sun 2nd April
On a very well attended open meeting with over 350 athletes and fantastic weather we saw some fantastic performances.
The highlight was an U15G club record for Holly Cross in the 3000m with a time of 10:01.14

Berlin Half Marathon
Three of our athletes travelled over to Germany with the following results:

Watford Open – Watford- Wed 5th April
Holly Cross made the long trip down south to secure an English Schools qualifier in the 1500m with 4:42.28
Hale 5 – Hale – Sun 9th April
Congratulations to Liam McCay who won the Hale 5 miler with Jon Jo Docherty in second place.

National Road Relays & 5k Champs – Sutton Park – Sat 15th April
Congratulations to Holly Cross who won the U15G National 5K title.
In the 12 stage, the men finished 22nd, however we were unable to field a ladies team.

Again another beautiful day at Wavertree with some excellent performances

We had 5 athletes competing in the mini marathon:

London Marathon – London – Sun 23rd April
We had a big contingent of runners for the London Marathon with Rachel Hodgkinson making the headlines.
Not only did she break Jenny Clague’s long standing club record in 2:34.46, but was 3rd placed in the British Championships and the leading female GB Athlete in the masses.
