Merseyside Schools XC Schools Championships – Calderstones Park

There was a good turnout of Liverpool Harriers for the Merseyside XC Schools Championships. There were four events winners and plenty of athletes who qualified for the national finals:

In addition, Hattie Bain won the Cheshire schools Yr 7 G champs.

 

NA U13/U15 Indoor Championship – Sheffield.

A number of our young athletes travelled to the championships and although only Mia Morrisroe was placed in 3rd place in the 200m (26.30) a number of others just missed being placed.

Scottish Athletics U17 Indoor CE Pentathlon

Congratulations to Steph Driscoll who took bronze in the Scottish Athletics U17 Indoor CE Championship on 4 Feb.

PBs in hurdles and long jump contributed to a pentathlon PB of 3371 points.

 

Alsager 5

David Devine finished 4th in the Alsager 5. Rachael Burns finishing 47th was 5th female.

BUCS XCBrunel University

Dan Jarvis was 4th in the short race, Liam Burthem 13th, Abdulqani Sharif 31st in long race. Hannah Delaney was the leading lady in 110th.

Sale Harriers Open Indoor Meeting

Quite a few athletes made the short journey to Manchester to compete indoors. The highlight being a 2.00m clearance in the high jump from Josh Hewitt.

Tim Duckworth was back in action in just the 2 events – 6.80 for 60m and 2.10cm in the HJ
