It was a busy weekend for Liverpool Harriers athletes with 3 athletes on international duty around Europe, Northern Cross Country Champs at Harewood House, Leeds and athletes in Sheffield and Manchester.
Vienna
Jamie Webb had a fantastic victory over in Vienna in the 800m winning in a UK leading 1:47.33
Czech Rep
Kate Anson got selected to compete for England in the HJ over in Czech Rep. Kate cleared a SB of 1.75m
Bratislava
Emma Alderson was selected to compete for England u20’s in the 400m and finished 2nd in 55.65
Northern XC, Leeds
On a tough course around the grounds of Harewood House, lots of our athletes competed in the Northern Cross Country Champs.
Congratulations to Ella McNiven and the U17 Women’s team. Ella came home ahead of the field and the team of Ella, Jess Cook, Faye Ireland and Niamh Donnelly came second.

Pole Vault Manchester
Beth Henshall was our only competitor at Pole Vault Manchester and jumped 3.13m, close to her PB
BMC Open Sheffield
Several athletes travelled over to Sheffield and there were quite a few performances that were season’s bests and closing in on PBs. Full results here
