YDL Lower – Sportcity – Sat 27th April
The U13 and U15’s took part in the opening fixture of the YDL at Sportcity. Conditions were extremely unpleasant with wind, rain and freezing conditions, but the team missing several athletes competed well and the team finished a creditable 5th.

London Marathon – Sun 28th April
Jonny Mellor was on of 5 Liverpool Harrier athletes that competed in the London Marathon. Jonny ran with the third group of athletes and finished a very creditable 19th and 4th GB athlete. Jonny’s time of 2:13:25 was just outside his PB.
Adrian Roach ran a big PB in 2:38:39, Colin Taylor-Potts finished in 2:44:42, Vicky Unsworth and Megan Ball completed the course in 3:01:13 and 3:22:02 respectively. Liam McCay competed in the mini marathon.
Mid Cheshire 5k – Fri 26th April
On Friday night, a number of our athletes competed at Kingsbury. David Devine finished 5th and Dejene Gezemu finished 12th. Rachael Burns finished 3rd in the ladies race.

Trafford Grand Prix – Tues 30th April
A few of our athletes competes in the distance and throws meeting at Trafford, with Sam Flaherty running sub 2m for 800m and Dan Preston running a quick 3k
