World Indoor Championships 4x400m Relay
Congratulations to Anyika Onuora, who won a bronze medal as part of the GB 4x400m relay squad.
Anyika ran second leg in the heats with a split of 53.7, despite some barging at the takeover. The team finished second to qualify for the final.
Anyika was left out for the final, where the GB crossed the line fourth. Jamaica were then DQed for crossing positions at the changeover and 30mins later GB were DQed for excessive bumping and barging. After numerous appeals, GB were re-instated in third and all members of the GB team that competed were awarded bronze including Anyika.
