English Schools Track & Field Championships – Birmingham

Congratulations to all our athletes that were selected and competed for Merseyside (and Cumbria)

We came away with three medals. Congratulations to Ella McNiven, Zoe Price and Steven Jones.

Ella competed in the IG 3000m and kicked with 700m to go and ran away with gold. Zoe picked up a tremendous silver in the IG Hammer and Steven Jones shared a bronze medal in the SB High Jump.

Athletics World Cup – London

Anyika Onuora was selected for GB in the newly formed Athletics World Cup and finished 4^th in the 400m in 52.03

Morton Games – Dublin

Jonny Mellor returned to fine form on the track running in the 5000m, finished in 4^th place in 13.36.12
