The team finished down in 5th place on the day and after 3 matches sit in 4th place with a home fixture remaining. Hopefully the team will put out a strong team for the last meeting which should consolidate their position in league 1

UKWL – Liverpool
Congratulations to Liverpool’s UKWL team who won their division 3 home fixture against teams from the Midlands and the South of England by 21pts and gives us a great shot of promotion going into the final match at Lee Valley on Sunday 5th August.
The top four teams are now within 2pts of each other, with Nene Valley leading by 1pt from Havering and Liverpool on 13pts and Rugby on 12pts.
The big positive on the day was that we filled every event bar a second pole vaulter. The stand out performances were Holly Smith in the triple jump who jumped a PB of 12.12 and Amy Odunaiya who ran 12.09(w) in the 100m.

Northern League, Blackpool
The team travelled to Blackpool with a fairly strong men’s team, but just a handful of female athletes for a variety of reasons and the team finished in 6th place.
Liverpool lie in 5th place in the league with another trip to Blackpool and need to stay above Manchester Harriers to stay in this league.
