National Road Relays – Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield

Following the medals for the U13G and senior men, there were hopes that both could be competitive at the National Road Relays.

The U13G ran well and finished in a very good 7th position with Hattie Bain running the 10th fastest time. The U13B finished 22nd

The U15G finished in 15th position with Faye O’Hare running the 9th fastest leg. The U15B finished in 20th. The U17M finished in 37th

An excellent performance from the senior women who were placed 14th with Faye Ireland returning back to competitive action.

The Senior men were bolstered by several additions from the Northerns and Johnny Mellor lead off and put the team straight into the lead with the third fastest leg of the day, but the team dropped back and finished the race in 8th
