Northern U13/U15 Indoor Championships – Sheffield – 2nd February
Our younger sprinters and 800m runners made the trip over to Sheffield for the Northern junior championships and there were some excellent performances with the club picking up 3 medals.
There was a 1-2 in the U13B 200m with Alec Wlliamson taking gold ahead of Sam Brooks. There was a gold for Kelly Aru in the U13B 60m.

BMC Sheffield Open – 5th February
Matty Hughes and Alistair Rutherford raced in Sheffield on Wednesday.
Matty ran 2:07.29 for 800m and Alistair ran 8:43.25 for 3000m
Reykjavik International Games – 2nd February
James Williams made his second appearance for England and first over 60m in Iceland winning both his heat and final in 6.77 and 6.78 respectively. The time in his heat equalled his PB and club record.
Merseyside Schools XC – Arrowe Park – 1st February
With places available for the English Schools XC at Sefton Park, there was a good turnout of Liverpool Harriers athletes.
Ella McMutrie won the junior girls, Liam McCay the junior boys and Charlie Teare the inter boys race.

Loughborough Open – 1st February
Mike Sweeney’s group made trip over to Loughborough with some excellent sprint and HJ performances. The highlight being Henry Nwoke improving his club U20 record to 6.84 in the 60m
