Sportshall NW club finals – Widnes – Sunday 19th January
Congratulations to our U11B, U13G and Reece Morrow(15G – individual) who all qualified for the Sportshall NW club finals at Widnes.
Both the boys teams finished 2nd and Reece finished 3rd in her event. I understand that quite a few athletes have been selected to represent Merseyside.
Northern XC Championships, Camp Hill, Bedale -Saturday 25th January
Quite a few of our athletes made the long trip across to Bedale, to compete in the Northern XC Championships. The stand out performance was from Liam McCay who finished 7th in the U15B.

Sheffield Festival Open – Sunday 26th January
James Williams decided to try his hand at 400m having run a 6.81, 60m earlier. James ran 47.67 which is a big PB and moved to the top of the UK rankings. Katherine Neo was our only other athlete running 8.70 and 28.99 for 60m and 200m
Manchester Indoors, Sportcity – Sunday 26th January
A few of our athletes made the short trip over to Manchester to compete in the indoor series.

Scottish Indoor Championships, Glasgow – Sunday 26th January
Both Steph Driscoll and Andrew Mellow competed in the senior 400m.
Andrew finished 3rd in a SB of 48.36 and Steph also finished 3rd in 57.15
