L&D XC Championships – Clarkes Gardens – Sun 2nd Feb
Congratulations to Matt Leahy who won the L&D XC with Jon Jo Doherty finishing in 2nd position. Unfortunately we struggled to get athletes out and thus had incomplete teams in both the Men’s & Women’s events.

EA U15/U17/U20 Championships- Sheffield – Sat 8th – Sun 9th Feb
We had quite a few athletes compete in Sheffield and several came close to medals, however Daisy Roberts did break her own U17W PV club record with a Vault of 3.20m

Poppy Baker won U11G and Liverpool were the first team
U11B – Liverpool were second team

Cross Challenge – Leeds – Sat 8th Feb
Congratulations to Jade Morgan who was selected to represent North of England. In the age group races, Rebecca Murphy was 5th in U15G and Beau Rawcliffe 6th in U13G

Congratulations to Lucy Woodward, on finishing third in the Pentathlon at the Scottish CE Championships.

Sportshall Regional Finals – Leigh – Sun 9th Feb
19 of our athletes were selected for Merseyside, with Merseyside winning U13G, U13B and U11G.
The U13Athletes now get the chance to represent Merseyside in the National finals in Stoke,
Greetings uit School run 10k – Netherlands – Sun 9th Feb
Jonny Mellor produced a big PB over 10k in Holland with a time of 28.15, just 9 seconds outside Geoff Smith’s club record
BUCS Indoor Championships- Sheffield – Fri 14th – Sun 16th Feb

Katarina used this Meeting as a warm up for the UK Championships with a go in the 60mH. Alice Jones missed Mia Morrisroe’s U17W 60m record by 0.01 with 7.74

ECCA National XC Championships – Parliament Hill- Sat 22nd Feb
Congratulations to our U13 Girls who are National champions. The team was Sophia Hunter (10th), Beau Rawcliffe (18th), Mia Ford (26th) and Esme Cameron (36th).
The U13 Boys finished in 6th place with Sam Lambert (7th) Seb Rung (16th), Rob Worrall (39th) and Luke Murphy (171).
The U15G finished 8th.
No U15B competed.
We had 2 U17G and 1 U17M
No U20s competed and 4 Snr Men and 2 Snr Ladies ran.
